Providing individual counseling to Virginia residents

Welcome to my website. I am a therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Blacksburg, Virginia.  I assist clients in recovering from mental health problems such as depression, anxiety and trauma.  It's important that you feel a connection and a potential for trust with your counselor. This site may help you get a sense of whether we might work well together. 

I provide counseling only via telehealth (video sessions over the internet).  Research, as well as my own clinical experience, indicates that telehealth sessions are as effective as in-person sessions, and many clients prefer the convenience of this format.
